Heat Setting: Use Medium-High heat. (Low heat makes the roti hard/dry).Preheat: Yes, preheat the tawa for 2–3 minutes. Never put a roti on a cold tawa, or it won't puff up.Quick Tip: The tawa is ready when a few drops of water flicked on it sizzle and disappear instantly.
