INTRODUCTION OF CHICKEN HANDI

Have you ever found yourself in the kitchen with limited ingredients but a craving for something delicious? That’s exactly what happened to me a few days ago when I decided to make a new dish with the help of a chicken handi recipe that I had come across. I didn’t have all the necessary ingredients for the recipe, so I improvised and created a new dish that turned out to be a hit with my husband.

To start, I took inspiration from the chicken handi recipe, which typically calls for chicken, spices, yogurt, cream, and tomatoes. I had to get creative since I didn’t have all of those ingredients. Since I didn’t have yogurt so I decided to substitute the yogurt with more tomatoes, and I skipped the cream, I gave it a karahi texture.

I also added a few of my touches to the recipe. I included roughly chopped onions and marinated chicken malai boti, I sautéed the onion until the onion caramelized and added a depth of flavor to the dish. I also used a mixture of spices that included cumin, coriander, turmeric, mixed spices, and red chili powder to give the dish a flavorful kick.

Mix Spices

To make the dish, I first sautéed the onions with cumin seeds in a pan with some oil until they were softened and caramelized. I then added the chicken, spices, and finely diced tomatoes and let everything cook for a few minutes until the chicken was browned and the spices were fragrant.

Next, I added a little bit of water and let the dish cook for about 10 minutes until the sauce had thickened and the chicken was fully cooked. In the end, I added green chili filled with masala and added it to the dish. I also sprinkled some coriander leaves and cooked them on low-medium heat until the green chilies turned their color and oil came up. This added an extra layer of flavor and spice to the dish, making it even more delicious. I finished the dish by garnishing it with some chopped coriander leaves and serving it with chapati.

Overall, this chicken handi-inspired dish was a great way to switch up my usual recipe routine and create something new and exciting. It’s a perfect example of how experimentation and creativity can lead to some of the most delicious dishes. Give this recipe a try, and I’m sure it’ll become a new favorite in your household too!

The result was a delicious and flavorful dish my husband and I loved. It had a creamy, slightly spicy sauce that was perfect for scooping up with the chapati or naan, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. I loved how the dish was inspired by the classic chicken handi recipe but with a twist that made it unique. Additionally, the blend of aromatic spices infused each bite with a tantalizing burst of flavor, creating a culinary experience that was truly memorable. The medley of onions, tomatoes, and peppers added a delightful textural contrast, while the garnish of fresh cilantro provided a refreshing herbal note, elevating the dish to new heights of culinary delight. With each mouthful, we savored the rich harmony of flavors and textures, making it a meal we will surely crave again and again.

In conclusion, if you’re ever in a situation where you don’t have all of the ingredients for a recipe, don’t be afraid to get creative and improvise. You never know, you might just come up with a new favorite dish!
