INTRODUCTION OF BEEF BURGER

INGREDIENTS:
- 400g of beef mince
- 2 slices of bread, crumbled
- 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of ketchup
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of tomato
- 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a large bowl, combine the beef mince, crumbled bread, chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything well.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Place the patties in the pan and cook for about 4 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, split the burger buns and toast them in the oven or on a pan until lightly golden.
- Once the patties are done, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt.
- To assemble the burgers, spread a tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top, followed by a slice of tomato, and then the cooked patty with melted cheese.
- Top each patty with the other half of the bun and serve.
