Ingredients:
- 200g firm tofu
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions:
- Cut the tofu into small cubes and marinate with lemon juice and salt for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, paprika, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together flour and water to create a batter.
- Coat each tofu cube with the batter, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture to fully coat.
- In a large frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Fry the coated tofu cubes until crispy and golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
- Serve the fried cheese tikka on sticks with a side of chutney or sauce. Enjoy!
