INTRODUCTION OF SWEET CORN CHAT

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups sweet corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 medium-sized tomato, chopped
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, for garnishing
  • 2 tbsp oil

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. If using frozen sweet corn, thaw it and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion, green chili, and tomato to the pan and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the sweet corn kernels to the pan and stir to combine with the onion mixture.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the sweet corn is heated.
  6. Add the chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, salt, and lemon juice to the pan.
  7. Mix everything and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  8. Remove the pan from heat and transfer the sweet corn chat to a serving dish.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
